As part of the Black Lesbian Archives Exhibit, a local effort to educate the LGBTQ+ community about creating and maintaining its own historical records, South Side Home Movie Project presents a workshop on preserving personal archives of all kinds, from film reels to paper to photos.

SSHMP Archivist Candace Ming will inspect and assess your materials, and offer advice about preserving them, as she discusses the benefits and best practices of personal archiving.
